OrderCentra started as the internal system of an events company that was tired of running a real business on spreadsheets. It works because it had to — long before anyone else could sign up for it.
It was never meant to be a product.
OrderCentra was built inside Berqat Media Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian event management and production company — because the company needed it.
Running a national roadshow means quotations before the job, crew and trucks during it, supplier bills after it, and an invoice someone has to chase. That ran on spreadsheets, group chats and memory, the way it does in most small businesses.
So the team built their own tools, one gap at a time. Those internal tools became OrderCentra — and after years of running a real business on them, Berqat Media decided other SMEs should not have to build the same thing from scratch.
